Channel Setup
There are 2 types of Channels which needs to be configured before we can send messages.
These configurations can be done by Salesforce System Admin. Admin also needs to have WA_Channel_Permission_Set permission set assigned to manage the WhatsApp channel configuration.
Configuring channel for Enterprise
**Steps –
- Go to WhatsApp channel ** Tab
- Click on new button to create a new channel
- Fill the fields as shown below.
- Select WhatsApp Channel Type as “Enterprise”
- Save the channel configuration
Configuring channel for Self Serve
Steps
- Go to WhatsApp channel Tab
- Click on new button to create a new channel
- Fill the fields as shown below.
- Select WhatsApp Channel Type as Self-Serve
- Password field is the API key
- Appname is provided by Gupshup
- Save the channel configuration
