Send Template Messages

Template messages are Highly Structured(HSM)/ Notification messages. Once your WhatsApp Business API is Live, you can create template messages and submit them to WhatsApp for approval. You can send Template

messages to users that you have opted-in. To know how you can opt-in users, read frequently asked questions.
Once the app has been installed, the user starts sending WhatsApp messages.

To send WhatsApp messages, click on Contacts/Lead in the left navigation. After clicking, it will redirect to the contact list page.

• Click on a lead from the list, and the system will redirect to the contact details of the selected lead.
• Once redirected to the lead detail page, look for the “Send Message” button on the ribbon command.


  • Click on the button named "Send Message" button on the ribbon command.
    Once the button "Send Message" is clicked, a pop-up screen will open

Choose channel.

  • Inside the Template Messaging tab, you'll find a dropdown menu labeled Choose Channel. This dropdown allows you to select the
  • • messaging channel you want to use for sending the WhatsApp template message.
    Note: the available channels are pre-configured in the Channel Configuration screen. Select the appropriate channel from the dropdown menu.

Search button

The search button is a user interface element that allows users to initiate a search query. When clicked, it typically triggers a function that processes the user's input, searches the relevant database or content, and returns matching results. The search button is often accompanied by a text input field where users can type their search terms. It may also include icons, such as a magnifying glass, to indicate its purpose.

If the template message includes some variables:

After selecting the template, check the preview. If everything is correct, click the "send button" to send the message.

A toast message saying "Message sent successfully" will appear for a few seconds.

• Click on the Select Categories drop-down button and then select Document
• Select the template which we want to send as a message to our Client
• Copy and paste a Document URL, a preview of which can be seen adjacent to this panel
• We need to add some variables [ This depends upon the template we choose to send ]
• Then click on Send
• We get a “Message Sent” notification and the message can be seen in the Chat History Section
• The message is finally received at the Client’s end WA No.

choose image message:

• Click on the Select Categories drop-down button and then select Image.
• Select the template which we want to send as a message to our Client.
• Copy and paste an Image URL, a preview of which can be seen adjacent to this panel
• We need to add some variables [This depends upon the template we choose to send]
• Then click on Send
• We get a “Message Sent” notification and the message can be seen in the Chat History Section
• The message is finally received at the Client’s end WA No.

• Click on the Select Categories drop-down button and then select Video
• Select the template which we want to send as a message to our Client
• Copy and paste a Video URL, a preview of which can be seen adjacent to this panel
• We need to add some variables [This depends upon the template we choose to send]
• Then click on Send
• We get a “Message Sent” notification and the message can be seen in the Chat History Section
• The message is finally received at the Client’s end WA No.

All the category messages are received on the user's WhatsApp number.
